New Division Director of Non-Public Education
Mr. David Mills has been promoted to the new Division Director of Non-Public Education. Mr. Mills worked as the Division’s Education Consultant.
Mr. Mills is originally from Raleigh where he attended Broughton High School. He is a graduate of Campbell University where he earned a B.S. in Psychology and an M.Ed. in Counseling.
Mr. Mills began his work for the State when he was hired by Governor Jim Martin’s staff in 1986 to work in the Division of Non-Public Education, which was formerly housed under the Governor’s Office. Since then, Mr. Mills has worked for the Division for the last 27 years.
Mr. Mills is looking forward to working with private and home schools in his new position of Division Director of Non-Public Education.
