Which picture?
These two pictures were taken in the spring of 1978 outside the Wake County Court House in Raleigh while the NC State Board of Education v. NC Christian Schools court case pre-trial hearing was being held that day in a courtroom there. Law enforcement officials estimated the size of the crowd of peaceful non-public school protesters at about 5,000.
