Dyslexia Conference To Be Held In Hickory


The North Carolina Branch of the International Dyslexia Association will hold its annual conference March 14-15, 2003 at the Gateway Conference Center in Hickory, NC.

The theme for this year’s conference is "Parents And Educators Working Together." Keynote speakers include: Louisa Moats, presenting data and insights from the Houston-Washington Early Intervention Project; Susan Hall, co-author with Louisa Moats of "Straight Talk About Reading: How Parents Can Make A Difference In The Early Years"; and, Suzanne Stevens, author of "The LD Child And The ADHD Child: Ways Parents And Professionals Can Help" and "Classroom Success For The LD And ADHD Child."

There will be 20 breakout sessions for parents, educators, researchers and tutors.
