NCDEH Releases Important E. coli Info. to Schools for Dissemination
The NC Division of Environmental Health provides the following very important information to North Carolina's non-public schools for release and distribution to all non-public school personnel, parents and students. The NCDEH is currently investigating an outbreak of E. coli and asks that each NC non-public school especially right now emphasize hand washing and education about E. coli infection. This request is made as part of an effort to help curtail the spread of this potentially devastating disease.
In addition to the information listed below, teachers are encouraged to also visit www.scrubclub.org/home.php for hand washing activities and educational materials for use in the lower grades.
