Tasks for adult helpers include:
- Affixing labels to file folders;
- Filing;
- Stuffing envelopes.
DNPE is asking for one or two-hour blocks of time as outlined in the preceding schedule. Contact the division anytime during normal business hours, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., to schedule and confirm a specific date at least 24 hours in advance before coming to volunteer in the office.
How do I volunteer?
- To schedule volunteer time, call DNPE at (919) 733-4276, press 2 immediately after the recorded DNPE greeting begins and ask for Pam Finnell or leave a voice mail message for her and the nature of your call.
- Once scheduled, if you need to cancel your volunteer time, please contact the office to alert the staff.
